So… hear me out. He knew that I wanted to travel to see him. But the odds were not great because there was always the chance despite the supporting documents that I would be refused boarding from the USA to Germany.
He didn’t know when I would be able to arrive or how. I had to sort out my leave from work. Approved. He didn’t know. And I was annoyed not being able to see him for over 8 months. I didn’t even bother telling him because he has a more realistic (practical) way of thinking which conflicts with my overly optimistic, wishful, hopeful, and positive vibes.
I headed to the DC airport. I was approved to board the plane, left the USA, flew to Germany. I departed the plane, was approved through German customs, took a mandatory COVID test, headed to his Apt in Munich. Suuuuurprise dude!!! ?
