Let’s talk about spiritual connections we encounter throughout our lives from appropriate adolescent age all the way into Adulthood. I feel like I have a very high chance that I will meet and marry the right one. But as a very dear person once told me, it is rare that you find the “right” one. I am on the l?kout out now more than ever before. It’s more common that people find those they can “tolerate” the most. As a Leo ?, I tend to lead with my heart and emotion but my brain is an essential worker when it comes to the complexity of this romantic once-in-a-million powerful L?VE force thing.
For those of you like me who have dated a time or two ? with enough experience to know when to back away slowly from partners who exhibit the red flag (new topic), do not pass go signs ???, have you ever thought about when you are certain you have found Mr. or Mrs. Right? Or in my case, damn near close but have to re-evaluate?
You are likely to meet ALOT of kindred spirits in your life. You truly just “click” with these types. These are the type of people you would unconsciously gravitate towards. They like the same things you do, hiking, traveling, swimming, partying, cycling, watching sports, knitting, Netflix series etc. You find them at work, the pub, whilst on holiday, pitting against a common enemy, during a house party, and more. Kindred spirits are not meant to be long-lasting but useful during the time you are around them or with them. Usually, the spiritual elevation of one of you will eventually weaken the connection or loss of shared interest. Sometimes even simple or dramatic life changes prevent that connection from growing any further. (becoming a monk, moving away, etc.) You learn to appreciate the love that this connection provided in the time that it did. It is not meant to be long-term. Rare but sometimes it can happen or grow into something more!
My relationship was good, I was happy. Completely satisfied, no. 2020 was especially very rough for us, we had turbulence and fell off big time. Overall, we worked at us and communicated in the best way possible until last year. We battled our own inner issues and grew tremendously together despite the many downs and ups we experienced. It was like watching a close family member grow up right before your eyes. I started to believe we were Twin Flames that never reached the highest level. ?? But there are significant differences between the three types of connections.
Twin Flames ? ignite a fire that you never knew existed between you. Unfortunately, they can be a mirror of yourself, a fatal attraction if you will where you both have the power of hurting each other. This is because you expose your own flaws and insecurities push those faults unconsciously onto one another. This leads to an inevitable growth and maturity that you could have never imagined regardless of if it works out or not. For my ex-fiance, we did have a loyalty to one another which kept us together even when things did not make sense and we were not on the same page, even whilst engaged. Loyalty without commitment to being together hits very differently. There is an emptiness that gradually festers into something that hinders long-term relationship growth.
I believe a Soul Mate ❤️ is someone that brings a discreet and inner calmness to your life and well being. The connection feels unreal, like you have known them your whole life or in another life. You can be cordial, disagree, or agree with and truly vibe with this person on a deeper level. They attract and balance your energy, support you and have the exact same primary goals as you, and truly want the best for you. You treat each other with the same respect, love, and compassion. Your heart feels full and you feel like you have truly met your best friend in human form (animals make the best of friends). You will also know that with a Soulmate, your level of intimacy extends far beyond a sexual way. This person brings a feeling of real true love and you wonder how can you have gone without this individual your whole life. (or what took them so long) This should not be mistaken for lust because if it has been months, years, or decades since and that feeling is still there then congratulations, you have found your soulmate.
My ex-fiancé might actually be my soul mate. (UPDATE: He IS) Always there when we need each other the most. But he sure wasn’t acting like it all 2020. Yes… ? I know COVID-19. But I do not tolerate excuses for treating me anything less than what I want and deserve.

I put off doing a blog for years. One day I just simply decided to go for it. I started with one post and began to free-write based on what I am feeling.
